Painting In France

Dates for 2018

April 23rd - April 30th

Painting in the Limousin Region of France

Based in the beautiful rural Creuse département  of the Limousin region. Les Marronniers (The Chestnut Trees) is an idyllic former farm , a painting, walking and cycling paradise along riversides and through beautiful woodland where nature is pretty much undisturbed. Situated on the edge of a pretty hamlet  with 7 acres of own private gardens and peaceful meadows.
The nearby villages of Crozant with its castle ruins, and Fresselines made famous by Monet, boast spectacular views of the Rivers Creuse and Sedelle. Lake Chambon with its safe sandy beaches, fishing, water-sports, and lakeside restaurants and bars is only 10 minutes away.

The Course :
All our painting locations and picturesque villages are within an easy 10 -15 minute drive or within the grounds. Mo welcomes all abilities on her courses as she teaches on an individual basis in the medium of your choice. There are also plenty of group demonstrations with opportunities for questions. Each day there is a morning and afternoon painting session with a relaxing picnic and a glass of wine. Evenings are for relaxing and reviewing the days work with a drink before enjoying the wonderful French cuisine.
